Stars for Birdies

State Farm^® is title sponsor of the inaugural State Farm Showdown, which will air on 8 p.m. ET, Friday, Aug. 10, on TNT immediately following coverage of the PGA Championship.

The event took place June 27 at Mohegan Sun Golf Resort in Baltic, Conn. Team captains were Aaron Rodgers and Chris Paul as football and basketball players were pitted against each other on the links.

The NFL team includes Reggie Bush, Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald, Drew Butler, Rashean Mathis, Josh Scobee and Adam Thielen. The NBA team consists of Ray Allen, Ron Harper, Michael Finley, Michael Conley, Kyle Korver, JR Smith and Deron Williams in a 27-hole multi-format tournament.
