State Farm® deploys resources to New Mexico wildfires

State Farm continues to express our heartfelt concern for those impacted by the devastating South Fork and Salt fires in central New Mexico. Our thoughts and support go out to all individuals and communities impacted by this ongoing crisis including the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers who are working tirelessly to contain the fires.

In addition to our specialized Catastrophe Claims Response vehicles, State Farm has deployed the Customer Response Unit (CRU) to begin distributing water, work gloves, and other essential items to help residents as they recover from the devastating wildfires. The CRU van will be driving around the impacted neighborhoods as they become accessible.

A few key tips:

• Safety first:  Material things can be replaced but the loss of life or serious injury can’t be fixed.
• Stay tuned:  Follow news reports and information from first responders.
• Keep living expenses receipts:  They may be reimbursable after meeting your deductible.
• What to expect from the claims process:  We will work with you closely to resolve your claim..
