]]>Less than two years after launching his TikTok account, Jake from State Farm® has reached 1 million followers on the social media platform.

In addition to his distinctive persona and good neighbor vibes, State Farm® also uncovered a unique opportunity with Jake to differentiate him from other spokespeople on social channels. Instead of focusing on traditional insurance messaging of preparedness and protection, Jake focuses on a culture-first storytelling approach.

While the State Farm brand is universal, Jake’s growing TikTok followers and engagement metrics show that Gen-Z and Millennial users are intentionally seeking out, relating to, and engaging with the brand through Jake as a cultural figure.

Go Behind the Scenes of Liv Pearsall’s State Farm Commercial Shoot!

Liv is ready for her closeup! Back in February, fans voted for Liv’s duet with Jake from State Farm as their favorite entry in the #TeamStateFarm TikTok Challenge. As part of her win, Liv will appear in an upcoming State Farm commercial.

Liv is on set in Los Angeles getting ready to film her commercial appearance.

Wanna Duet? Have some talented friends who wanna duet? See Jake’s original challenge and use TikTok’s duet feature to share your video. Don’t forget to add #TeamStateFarm #Contest.

Our announcement

State Farm is taking to TikTok for the #TeamStateFarm TikTok Challenge and inviting users to duet with Jake from State Farm during the playoffs for their chance to be featured in a future State Farm commercial.

To enter, users will create their own video using the duet feature on TikTok for a chance to be part of #TeamStateFarm and showcase their unique talents (does not need to be football related). Participants need to follow and tag @jakefromstatefarm and use the hashtags #TeamStateFarm #Contest.

The challenge is open for submissions now through February 11 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

On February 13, the day of the big game, the top three duet videos will be pinned to the top of Jake’s TikTok page, and TikTok users will get the chance to vote by liking their favorite through February 17 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The creator of the winning video will receive a paid trip, for a meet and greet with Jake from State Farm and a role in an upcoming State Farm commercial.

The winner will be announced in late February.
