State Farm® Transforms Policy Administration
New Technology from Guidewire Provides Simpler, Personalized Customer Experience
State Farm knows how important it is to invest, innovate and build for the future. As the largest insurer of cars and homes in the nation, the company has begun an incremental deployment of Guidewire PolicyCenter. This will enable State Farm to provide a simpler and more personalized experience for customers.
“State Farm is always looking at how we can leverage new technologies to adapt to the changing needs of our customers,” said Curt Stewart, State Farm Enterprise Technology Executive. “We’re excited to team up with Guidewire to improve our customer experience. Streamlining our digital and transactional processes will also improve operational efficiencies.”
The new operating platform will significantly speed up and improve the application process. It will enable employees and State Farm agents to work from the same set of customer information. And, it will give customers more flexibility with billing and communications.
“We are very excited and honored to welcome State Farm to our customer community and congratulate them on their success to date,” said Steve Sherry, Chief Sales Officer, Guidewire Software. “We look forward to our ongoing work with the State Farm team as they continue to implement changes that will benefit their customers.”
The project is being introduced to various product lines in a phased approach. The effort will also allow State Farm to be more responsive to the changing marketplace. This includes delivering on its core products or finding new ways to help customers. To support these efforts, State Farm is actively recruiting employees with technology and data skills.
