State Farm helping customers after hail and severe weather in Missouri
In late April, Missouri experienced several severe storms, including a large hailstorm on April 28 in Springfield and surrounding communities that damaged vehicles, roofs, and windows. Our hearts and thoughts go out to everyone who has been impacted across the Central U.S., including families here in Missouri.
So far, State Farm has received over 17,000 home, property, and auto claims from these late April storms in Missouri. We are actively working to help our customers recover by providing all benefits available under their policies.
Our priority is taking care of our customers’ needs and helping people start recovery as quickly as possible. We encourage customers with damage to reach out and get the process started. We are here to help!
Here to Help
State Farm offers customers the option of a digital-first approach to claims to get them help faster. That means customers don’t have to wait for an in-person visit to get started—we can begin helping immediately through phone and digital options. We were taking care of customers from the day of the event, and we’ll continue to support them as repairs and recovery move forward—both in-person and virtually.
State Farm has onsite resources available for Missouri customers impacted by the recent severe weather. We encourage customers with damage to file a claim and get the process started.
With an appointment, we can assist these customers face to face at our Weather Drive-Thru site:
- King Food Saver, 1831 W. Kearney, Springfield; open daily from 7 am. to 7 p.m. CT
Due to declining customer activity, the catastrophe weather drive-thru site located in Springfield will be closing end of day, Friday, June 5, 2026. Auto and Fire Claims personnel will remain available until the closing date to assist with policyholder needs. Customers wishing to file a claim after June 5 are encouraged to do so through the options listed below.
Supporting Missouri communities
This year State Farm provided $75,000 in philanthropic support to Convoy of Hope for Missouri disaster preparedness and recovery efforts. These funds provide support for critical needs including shelter, food pantry supplies and other resources to help local communities recover.
